Within the GEF Strategic Partnership on Black Sea and Danube Basin a number of events aimed at exchange of experience and nutrient pollution control have been organized since 2001. They include, among others:

• 3rd Regional Workshop on non-point pollution management: "Agricultural Nutrient Reduction - Road to Compliance with EU Nitrate Directive. September 14-16, 2004 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
  
• 4th Regional Conference on Agricultural Nutrient Management in the Danube, Black Sea and Baltic Sea Riparian Countries, October 4-10, 2005, Tbilisi, Georgia.
  
• 5th Regional Conference on Nutrient Pollution Control in the Danube-Black Sea Basin, October 3-6, 2006 in Chisinau, Moldova.
  
• 6th Regional Conference on Nutrient Pollution Control in the Danube-Black Sea Basin, October 23-25, 2007 in Ankara, Turkey
