 Liudmila Uvarova has joined the World Bank group in 2004 as research and communication intern. Since then she has been working as a consultant at the Human Development Network, Education Division; International Finance Corporation, Social and Environmental Development Department, and Private and Financial Sector Development Group of the Europe and Central Asia Region.
Liudmila’s specialization is in Labor Market, Public Policy and Human Development. She holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D. in Economic Sociology from the Russian Academy for Public Administration. The primary focus of her studies was social risk management, unemployment, instruments of social protection, and decentralization.
