More and more client countries are turning to public private partnerships (PPPs) to alleviate transportation problems and improve transport infrastructure. This BBL highlights trends and key issues arising in PPPs in Ports and Roads and a Light Rail Project in Russia. There will then be a short presentation on a new web-based resource for infrastructure projects, the "Infrastructure and Law Web Site" developed by the Bank's Legal VPU.
One presentation is about Nadex, Light Railway in St Petersburg. The bank is currently the financial adviser to the City on this PPP project (Fee-for-Service).
