The objective of this Brown Bag Lunch was to introduce global experience with community-based financing in health sector, share regional knowledge on community development in the sector and discuss the implications of the CDD approach for the future developments in this area.
- Armin Fidler, Health Sector Manager, chaired the BBL and made a brief introduction to the topic of "Health Sector and CDD in ECA."
- Cristian Baeza, Senior Health Systems Specialist at the International Labor Organization, presented global practices with community-based financing.
- Sarbani Chakraborty, Health Specialist, shared the experiences and lessons learned from the community health insurance pilot in Georgia.
