The Conference provided an interactive forum for dialogue between young people representing youth organizations, delegates of country governments, policymakers, local agencies, and international organizations, to discuss the need to invest in young people's transitions to work and citizenship, given the significant role of young people as agents of positive social, economic, and political change. For the purpose, the Conference focused on two primary policy domains articulated in the World Bank World Development Report Development and the Next Generation: transition to working life and exercize of citizenship.
