The World Bank, in collaboration with the Development Cooperation Office of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the ILO, is organizing at the Radisson Hotel, 171 Via Turati, Rome, from May 21 to 24 the International Conference “Young People in Eastern Europe and Central Asia: from Policy To Action”.

The objectives, main themes of the Conference and unpublished statistical analyses are to be discussed at a PRESS CONFERENCE, on Monday May 21, 15:00, at the Associazione Stampa Estera, 83c Via dell'Umiltà, Rome.

The Conference is to be inaugurated on May 21, 20:00, by the Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi with a welcome toast on the opening evening at the Terrazza Caffarelli, Capitoline Museums, 4 Piazza Caffarelli. Further information relating to the Prime Minister's attendance will be made available in the coming days.
