Title: Investment Climate series

Description:
This policy dialogues were a part of a series of video sessions on cross-regional dissemination of lessons and best practices in key-dimensions of investment climate.
Session I: “De-regulation of the entry of new businesses” disseminated experiences from Peru.
Session II: “Access to Finance in Serbia and Montenegro” disseminated findings of the Serbia and Montenegro Investment Climate Assessment.
Sessions III and VI: “Land reform issues in Russia” supported the Foreign Investment Advisory Service (FIAS) efforts focusing on administrative procedures for land and real estate transactions on the regional level.
Session IV: “Strengthening commercial law frameworks” with emphasis on insolvency and creditor rights systems aimed at the Balkan countries and European Union candidate countries.

Title: WDR presentation on investment climate

Description:
The primary objective of the dialogues was to disseminate and discuss the findings of the World Development Report 2005.
 
Highlights: The discussion was very dynamic; participants stayed after the dialogue for some more discussion.

Title: Global Dialogue on Access for All: Fighting HIV/AIDS (Development Outreach Series)

Description:
Objectives of the dialogues were to recognize the difference between national, regional and international assessments;  to understand the value of the national/regional assessment development and its design implications and potential pitfalls; and  to develop understanding of the steps that need to be taken to conduct national/regional assessments that meet current international technical standards. The objective of the session was to discuss the various SWAP models in the health sector with government audiences in Kyrgyz Republic.

Description:
The primary purpose was to disseminate study on HIV/AIDS in western Balkans.

Title: Russia Health Reform roundtables

Description:
These sessions were aimed at supporting the health reform efforts in Russia in the key areas of interest, including Primary Health Care Reform (UK), Licensing and Accreditation experiences in USA, Health Insurance model (Hungary), and Basic Health Project for family medicine (Bosnia).

Highlights: The level of participation and discussion was consistent and strong; this reflected the interest of the audience as well as the relevance of the topic for the current reform efforts in Russia's health system.

Title: Y-PEER Leadership Dialogue

Description: The purpose of this dialogue was to provide regional leadership by sharing state-of-the-art information, best practices, and lessons learned in HIV/AIDS prevention for young people, specifically Especially Vulnerable Young People. This session also provided certified trainers in Eastern Europe and Central Asia with an opportunity for refresher trainings in thematic areas of their personal and professional interest.

Title: Approaches to Pre-School Standards

Description: The Government of Armenia developed a strategy on early childhood development with assistance from a number of donors, including UNICEF.  In conjunction with UNICEF Yerevan and UNICEF headquarters, a virtual seminar was organized to present various approaches to pre-school standards and to begin a dialogue with the Ministry of Education on these issues.

Session I:
 The objective of this session was to discuss the most successful strategies of youth employment and share the Chilean best case example with Republics in Russia.
Sessions II and III: These dialogues focused on the topic of youth policy development. Participants reviewed the policy recommendations included in the recent ESW on youth in South Eastern Europe and discussed their relevance for their own country

7 sessions still to take place, loose network of SME practitioners in the region establish contact, coordination with on ground SME agencies and development entities such as SEED.
