Leadership Dialogues - Way Forward delivered by Belgrade British Council

GDLN Supports Strengthening of Young Democracies in the  Western Balkans

A GDLN Multi-session Program on "Leadership Dialogues: Ways Forward" is being delivered to young leaders in Bosnia (Sarajevo), Croatia (Zagreb), Macedonia (Skopje) and Serbia and Montenegro (Belgrade). With the support of the World Bank ECA Region Grant Program for the development of GDLN Programs, the Belgrade GDLN Affiliate, designed this programme with the aim of sharing ideas and finding common interests amongst young and prospective leaders in Western Balkans while tackling common issues of transitional economies. Through the program participants and speakers are discussing key questions related to corruption control,  transitional governments,  economy transitions–public finances & budgetary oversight, comparative systems of public administration, accountable governments and social dialogue. In the form of the online dialogue/discussion forum the programme thus serves as a platform for interaction between international experts and young democratic leaders from the Western Balkans, and provides young leaders an opportunity  to create their own network for future communication and cooperation.

The first two sessions of the Leadership Dialogues: Ways Forward program were delivered  on January 16 and 31st. Three more sessions will be held ion February 8, March 8 and 15.
