WASHINGTON, May 27, 2008- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:
IDA Credit: US$22.7million
TERMS: Maturity = 20 Years; Grace Period = 10 Years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project aims to continue to support the Government of Georgia in the implementation of policy reforms in the areas of: (i) strengthening public sector accountability, efficiency, and transparency; (ii) improving electricity and gas sector services; (iii) improving the environment for private sector development; and (iv) improving social protection, education and health care services.
