“Employment Opportunities for Young IDPs”

 

 

 

Winners

Imereti Regional Center for Training and Consultation - “Consultation, Information and Training for Employment” – The project will improve accessibility to the useful database information for youth IDPs and potential employers; concentrate on problems of employment of youth, and give possibility to unemployed to realistically evaluate their opportunities and adequately chose the possible areas of employment.  

Non-commercial Legal Entity “Tsami” - “Professional Internship for Successful Future!” - The project is aimed to develop professional skills of the IDPs, who will work as interns; support their valuable integration into the society; consider successful interns as a reserve staff for the partner organizations.

Civic Education Office in Shida Kartli - “Our Contribution in Integration of Young IDPs” - The objective of the activity is to raise awareness among the unemployed young IDPs and train them in preparing for the job interviews; raise the motivation of such youth to look for and find the jobs.

Tkibuli District Development Fund -“An Equal Chance for Every Young IDPs” – The project is designed to support a selected group of young IDPs in capacity-building; provide free internet access to these youth.

Women in Business - “Information and Public Awareness Campaign to Facilitate Employment and Self-employment of Young IDP Women” - The objective of the activity is to improve job seeking skills of 30 IDP women; introduce the basics of market economy and relevant legislation to them; assist 15 young IDPs to develop mini business plans to start their own micro businesses.

Georgian Business Development Center Caucasia -“Linking Information, Knowledge and Business for IDP Youth Employment in Tserovani and Tsilkani Settlements” - The objective of the activity is to train about 100 IDPs in designing a CV and taking an interview; 300 IDPs will attend the Knowledge Dissemination and Job Placement Forum.

Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center - “Employment and Self-employment Program for Internally Displaced Youth. The project will equip 160 IDP youth with the knowledge of career orientation; 30 starter young entrepreneurs will be given a chance to take consultations and manage their own business; increase knowledge of 100 entrepreneurs in Kutaisi; hold 2 forums in the sphere of employment.
