What is an Interim Strategy Note?

In countries emerging from conflict, the World Bank prepares an Interim Strategy Note (ISN) in partnership with other donors. The aim is to coordinate resources and actions, especially in the creative use of trust funds. The ISN is a short-to-medium term plan for World Bank involvement in the country. It precedes the World Bank's involvement in comprehensive reconstruction in the country through grants and loans.
