
Youth Voices  Background  The Youth Voices initiative is part of the larger effort of the World Bank to engage in a systematic dialogue with young people, either as individuals or as youth groups, so as to include their perspectives and needs in the development process. The Youth Voices program was first launched in Peru in 2002 and afterwards implemented in different countries across the world such as Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Albania, Serbia, Moldova, Peru, Macedonia, and Yemen.   Youth Voices Kosovo  Youth Voices in Kosovo is a group of 10 young people aged from 18 – 25. The group members are from different parts of Kosovo, with different cultural and educational backgrounds, and are voluntarily and involved in the sphere of civil society.  The group members will be involved in the implementation of different World Bank projects, especially those that target the youth. They conduct evaluations, researches and analysis. They provide information and feedback from young people to the World Bank and vice versa.  The young enthusiasts meet on a regular basis to bring fresh ideas and recommendations for youth programs and policies that are formed by their experiences, perspectives and priorities. The group was first established in the year 2006.
