Latvia Knowledge Economy Assessment 2002 – 2003


June 8-9, 2004 in Riga.
The World Bank has completed Latvia Knowledge Economy Assessment in 2002-2003 delivering three separate analytical reports addressing situation in higher education, business environment for high tech enterprises, and innovation system. Proposals to solve problem issues in these sectors were discussed at the two day working seminar “Enhancing Latvian Competitiveness in the EU: Technology Upgrading, Innovation, and Technology Commercialization” on June 8-9, 2004 in Riga.
