Moscow Carbon Market Forum 2008 took place on April 28-29, 2008 in Moscow. The Forum was organized by the World Bank in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation and other organizations. The Forum provided a unique platform for exchanging information and views regarding perspectives of Kyoto Protocol implementation in Russia, CIS and Eastern European countries. The Forum offered opportunity for the professional discussion of the following issues: legal framework and procedures for the implementation of JI and CDM projects, prospects for the Investment Scheme and JI Track 1 application in the period 2008-12 and beyond, state of international carbon market and sellers and buyers of AAUs, ERUs, CERs prospects.
