WASHINGTON, May 25, 2010 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project: IDA Grant: US$2.0 million equivalent Project ID: P114313 Project Description: The goal of the additional financing is to further develop the country's student assessment system in order to ultimately improve the quality of learning and teaching. The grant will finance the construction of the National Testing Center building and related equipment and furniture. The additional financing builds on the achievements of the Education Modernization Project which has been under implementation since 2003.
