This position requires experienced staff who can make a significant contribution to the overall achievement of the unit's work program and independently (with routine supervision only) undertake diverse and complex work assignments including (but not limited to) the following tasks: Job Purpose(summary of major job accountabilities): the full range of office administrative, secretarial and client support work; primary assistance in the implementation of the unit's work program, including specialized support in a specific areas such as procurement, database management, and document editing etc.; quality enhancement for operational documents to ensure adherence to Bank institutional guidelines; participation in developing project/product time lines in the Bank's operational systems (SAP, etc.); participation in operational meetings with specific responsibilities (including drafting, clearing and distributing minutes); serving as an information resource on project/product status; monitoring budgets and trust funds for specific projects; retrieving, analyzing and presenting operational data; selecting and applying procedures and processes in line with Bank guidelines; liaison with team members, coordination with other Bank Group Units and with external counterparts.
Essential Specialized Skills/Knowledge/Competencies the Candidate Already Has or Can Quickly Acquire: Extensive knowledge and understanding of Bank Group administrative/operational procedures. Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in advanced functions of standard Bank technology packages. Good knowledge of and demonstrated experience in specialized administrative/operational support functions (e.g., database management, knowledge management, task management, major event/course planning, etc.) and ability to apply relevant procedures, processes and systems. Sound knowledge of the unit's work program. Analytical ability, practical problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in performing varied tasks in the areas of functional specialty. Demonstrated skills in retrieving, gathering and obtaining information from various internal and external sources (Internet, etc.), analyzing and presenting them in a usable format. Sound organizational skills and ability to prioritize and deliver assignments in a timely manner often under severe time pressures. Demonstrated initiative in developing practical approaches to improve the quality of support and team/unit effectiveness. Strong inter-personal skills and commitment to work in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment. Ability to prepare presentation materials using various software packages with minimum guidance. Strong language skills (verbal and written) of English/Ukrainian/Russian, including ability to draft business correspondence and provide quality editing in line with Bank standards.
