Bank Involvement with SMEs: Beyond Relationship Lending

This project tries to understand bank financing to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The project has been undertaken jointly at the Latin American and the Caribbean Region, the International Financial Corporation, the Finance and Private Sector Development Network, and the Development Economics Research Group of the World Bank Group. The main findings of the project are discussed in the summary paper available below. The other products of the study are also available in this site.
