>> Agenda

The World Bank, CARICOM/PANCAP and UNAIDS, in collaboration with the AIDS Strategy and Action Plan (ASAP) service of UNAIDS are hosting a Workshop from December 4-8, 2006, in St. Lucia. The Workshop will bring together teams from the ten Caribbean World Bank-financed HIV/AIDS Projects supported under the Multi-Country HIV/AIDS Program (MAP) for the Caribbean.

The objectives of the Workshop are threefold:  First, to share experiences among the Program Management Teams of the nine HIV/AIDS projects and one regional HIV/AIDS project on how best to accelerate implementation including addressing impediments identified in the Multi-Agency Review of HIV/AIDS in the Caribbean and the Universal Access Consultations to contribute to meeting the objectives of the national AIDS program. Second, to share and learn from each on what approaches have worked successfully, what has not worked, and how results are being achieved and measured.  Third, to provide training in building the national and regional capacity to prepare, prioritize and cost National Strategic Plans (NSP) and results frameworks.
