The workshop will bring together country and regional-level policy and decision-makers involved in HIV/AIDS strategic planning and programming who can contribute to shaping broader health systems strengthening policies in their countries by bringing across the good practices and lessons from the Latin America and Caribbean region's experience. In addition, representatives from the Africa region will also participate to bring across experiences on a global level.
Objectives: The workshop will support
(i) regional strategic decision making on HIV and other STIs; and
(ii) South-South cooperation on HIV/AIDS and STIs.
Country Participants: Representatives from the following countries/regional bodies will participate in the workshop: Argentina, Barbados, Brazil, Central America Social Integration System (SISCA), Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, PANCAP, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and Angola and Mozambique.
