Jamele Rigolini

Jamele Rigolini, a Swiss national, is on his first rotation in the World Bank's Young Professional Program. His interests include the political economy of development; the relationship between poverty, inequality and economic growth; and the relationship between corruption and economic performance. Jamele holds a BA in Physics from ETH, Zurich, an MA in Economics from the University of Lausanne, and a PhD in Economics from New York University. In 2004 he joined the University of Warwick as an assistant professor in the department of Economics. He has worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, and for McKinsey & Company.
