Monserrat Bustelo graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional de la Plata, Bs. As., Argentina. Her particular area of focus has been Impact Evaluation of public expending, Poverty, and Income Distribution. Her methodological area of concentration was Micro-Econometric Descomposition Techniques. Before joining our team, she was a Research Assistant at CEDLAS (Distributive, Labor and Social Studies Center, Bs. As., Argentina) where she worked with United Nations and World Bank’s projects. Also, she has been a Consultant at the Ministry of Finance, Mendoza Government, Argentina.

Monserrat began working for the Poverty Team during 2005 as a Consultant and then as a Junior Professional Associate. She is currently working on ex-ante impact evaluation and poverty and growth issues.
