Georgina Pizzolitto graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) in Argentina. Since she finished her studies she has been working on projects related to Poverty, Income Distribution and Gender in Latin America and the Caribbean, applying micro-econometric techniques. During this time she gained extensive experience working with Household Surveys from LAC countries.
Before joining our team, Gerogina worked as a Research Fellow in the Research Department (RES) and the Sustainable Development Department (SDS) of the Inter-American Development Bank. She also worked as a researcher at CEDLAS (Centro de Estudios Distributivos Laborales y Sociales) in Argentina, participating in United Nations and World Bank’s projects like the “SEDLAC (Socio-Economic Database for Latin America and the Caribbean)” and “Monitoring the Socio-Economic Conditions in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay” where she was in charge of the socio-economic statistics and the country report of Chile.
