Trine Lunde

Trine has worked as a consultant for the World Bank on issues related to poverty and indigenous peoples in Latin America. She led the country-level research in Mexico for the World Bank study Moving Out of Poverty, and co-authored the Mexico and Ecuador chapters for the Indigenous Peoples and Economic Opportunity World Bank regional study. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Latin American studies at the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University. She also holds an MBA from HEC Paris and has worked as a consultant for UNICEF and in the private sector.

Trine works with the Gender Team on coordinating funding proposals for gender mainstreaming projects within LAC, developing a strategy for gender mainstreaming, and with other WB teams and staff on ways to include gender in analytical work.
