Jonna is a political scientist whose main field of work has been MDGs, project/programme management and capacity development. She worked with the United Nations Development Programme in Honduras as a Research Analyst on Human Development from 2002 to 2004, and then as a Program Officer in the Poverty and Sustainable Development Unit in the same country office until December 2006. Her analytical work has focused on social capital and human development from a grassroots perspective. Jonna has a Master's degree in Political Science from Uppsala University, Sweden, specializing in Development Studies.
