Belize Poverty Map

In Belize, the lack of data prevents us from presenting a map with a high level of geographic disaggregation. However, the map shows that the population is close to being uniformly distributed across the six regions of the country. Belize and Cayo, the two wealthiest regions, concentrate 50 percent of the population while Toledo and Stann Creek, the poorest, together have about 20 percent of the country’s population.
