The Ministry of Transportation and Works of The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is hosting the Eastern Caribbean Climate Resilient Infrastructure (CRI) workshop to tackle the challenge of designing infrastructure that is resilient to climate-related weather patterns that are increasing risks of natural hazards in the Eastern Caribbean. This CRI workshop is designed to support and foster regional collaboration to improve infrastructure engineering designs and technologies to improve climate adaptation strategies for small island developing states (SIDS). This knowledge exchange is composed of national ministries, development agencies, private enterprises, regional experts and international practitioners and it aims to improve local engineering conditions and infrastructure designs to improve resilience in order to mitigate the long-term impacts of climate change.
