Apart from investing with financial resources and technical assistance, the World Bank is transforming itself into a "knowledge bank." This has led to establishing the Centro de Información para el Desarrollo (CID) in Nicaragua, a partnership between the Bank's Public Information Center network and United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Government of Honduras, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE).
