Juan Jose Daboub en Nicaragua

The World Bank Managing Director Juan Jose Daboub, visited Nicaraguaand shared experiences with communities and beneficiaries of projects in southern Nicaragua. During his visit, from 11 to June 13, Mr. Daboub met with government officials, and other representatives.(s )

There have been noteworthy improvements in Nicaragua’s macroeconomic performance since 2001. The economy has continued to grow moderately at an annual rate of 3.2 percent, complemented by a low 7.6 percent annual inflation rate and high levels of international reserves. Exports doubled to about $2 billion, including maquila value added, and the public debt
