 Apart from investing with financial resources and technical assistance, the World Bank is transforming itself into a "knowledge bank." This has led to establishing the Centro de Información para el Desarrollo (CID) in Nicaragua, a partnership between the Bank's Public Information Center network and the UN System, the Canadian International Development Agency, the Department for International Development of the British Government, the Interamerican Development Bank and the "Roberto Incer Barquero" Library of the Central Bank of Nicaragua.
