1.  The World Bank financing for the Latin America and the Caribbean Region (LCR) in fiscal year 2008 totaled approximately US$4.6 billion for 58 projects. This includes about US$4.3 billion in loans from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and US$300 million in grants and credits from the International Development Association (IDA)  read
