Public Consultation and Disclosure

Public consultation and disclosure represent standard international practice in highly complex development processes and as such are an essential element of World Bank safeguard procedures. The Terms of Reference for the Feasibility Study and the Environmental and Social Assessment require public consultation and stakeholder meetings at every stage of the process. These meetings are announced well in advance and are held in locations easily accessible to stakeholders. This process is sponsored by and directly involve Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian officials. This web site will post a schedule of meetings as available.
