The Study Program is financed through a multi-donor trust fund that is administered by the World Bank. An initial donor meeting was held in Paris in July 2005 to raise financing for the Study Program and a Multi-donor trust fund was established in December 2006. As of December 2009, eight bilateral donors have contributed about US$16.7 million to the Study Program. The current donors are: France, Greece, Italy, Japan, South Korea, The Netherlands, Sweden, and the United States of America.
