Shaping the Future": A Long-Term Perspective of People and Job Mobility in the MENA The study is about global labor and job mobility- that is migration and outsourcing- with a focus on Europe and MENA. It looks at long term global demographic and labor force developments to assess which parts of the world will experience aging populations and major declines in their labor force and which will see an expansion.
Update on Economic Prospects A new World Bank report, Global Economic Prospects 2009, examines the impact of the financial crisis on GDP growth across the world and MENA region. GDP growth in MENA remained relatively strong in 2008, but is is projected to slow to 3.9 percent in 2009.
