Israel joined the World Bank in 1954 and is currently a member of the IBRD, IFC, MIGA, IDA, and ICSID. Israel is also a member of EBRD, IADB (including FSO, IIC) and various agencies of the UN.  Some of Israel's areas of involvement include:

  • A contributing IDA donor
  • A member of CGIAR
  • Participates in HIPC debt relief
  • Memorandum of understanding with WBI and involved in capacity building programs
  • Participation in GDLN program
