Overview

Israel joined the World Bank in 1954 and is currently a member of the IBRD, IFC, MIGA, IDA, and ICSID. Israel is also a member of EBRD, IADB (including FSO, IIC) and various agencies of the UN.

Loans and Grants

There are no current active projects for Israel.  During the period from 1961 to 1975, the World Bank financed 11 operations in the country, for a total original commitment of US$285 million.
