Forum “Innovation and social proximity – Youth and development "

November 2006 - In the spirit of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) and the dynamic created by this important initiative,the Business Committee for Community Service of the CGEM and the World Bank, launch a program "Innovation and Social Proximity – Youth and Development in Morocco".

 

This program aims to mobilize different socio-economic actors in a new partnership for human development in the fight against marginalization of youth. It seems to encourage innovation in favor of youth inMorocco , through financing projects initiated by youth and/or by associations that focus on youth.

The call for projects
The Commission has launched a call for projects to community based associations. 
201 projects proposals have been received ans analyzed. Here are the distribution, first by themes, urban/rural and by regions.

The themes

The programme will be based on the theme "Youth and Development" and will be divided into the following sub themes:

• Youth and Training / capacity building ;
• Youth and Education ;
• Youth and Health;
• Youth and Rural Development;
• Youth and the Environment ;
• Youth and Culture;
• Youth and Civic education/Citizenship.
