As part of the World Bank Access to Information Policy, the Bank is pro-actively making more information and data available to the public.
The analysis of the household and public official surveys (attached below) were critical inputs to the report "Improving Governance and Reducing Corruption". The surveys were conducted in 2010 to understand perceptions and experiences of corruption, views on the mechanisms to control corruption, the status of some of the core systems within the public sector, and to identify weaknesses in the provision of public services. The analysis of the surveys were prepared as background documents, and while an essential input to the report, were not subject to formal review within the World Bank.

The raw survey data from the surveys (in SPSS format) is also available for research purposes. Please send an email with your request to mkoussa@worldbank.org. In use of the data the World Bank should be identified as the source.
