An essential part of the World Bank's contribution to AIDS is the analytical and advisory work that is carried out for our client countries in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The studies include analysis of the dynamics, the multisector determinants, institutional arrangements, treatment costs and the socioeconomic impact of the epidemic to inform policy, priority setting and lending.
