Afghanistan Road Maintenance Note
This document was prepared and shared with the Government of Afghanistan in May 2005 based on the request from the Minister of Finance during the Spring Meeting discussions in Washington in April 2005. The purpose of this document was to summarize the current road maintenance issues and challenges in Afghanistan, propose measures including possible World Bank interventions, and make recommendations for the key areas of improvement for Afghan road maintenance.
