A well informed media is critical to the success of development programs. In this context, the workshop was organized around specific transport sub-sectors of Highways, Ports, Urban Transport and Road Safety, and key stakeholders in these sub-sectors, such as representatives of the Central / States Government Bodies, Research Institutions, Private Sector, participated and shared their experiences and concerns with the media persons to help sensitize them to the sector.
