To deepen public understanding in Europe about the World Bank’s work, and to engage main European concerns with the Bank’s policy discussions, EXTEU country counselors regularly meet with nationally based constituencies in Europe, including government officials, parliamentarians, academics and researchers, as well as representatives of NGOs, private sector representatives and the media.
The countries covered are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
