| Visit of World Bank President J. D. Wolfensohn in Luxembourg
Mr. James D. Wolfensohn, President of the World Bank, visited Luxembourg on May 14, 2004. On this occasion, M. Wolfensohn met with Prime Minister Junker and Minister of Budget Frieden. He also had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Charles Goerens, Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid. Finally, Mr. Wolfensohn also signed a Private Sector Liaison Officer (PSLO) agreement with the Luxembourg Chambre de Commerce. The newly appointed PSLO is to disseminate information about the World Bank Group and its business opportunities and facilitate contacts between companies from Luxembourg and the World Bank Group.Â
