Improving Statistic for Measuring Development Outcomes, June 4-5, 2003

This conference broughttogether many senior practitioners from national and international agencies who share a common concern for improving the quality of development statistics. It reviewed recent progress and discussed new initiatives in measuring and monitoring development outcomes, and identified steps leading to a plan of action that addresses needed improvements in national and international data systems.

This conference was hosted by the World Bank and organized in partnership with Eurostat, the United Nations Development Programme, and PARIS21 at World Bank Headquarters, Washington DC, Room MC2-800.
