Development Data Group of the World Bank has developed tools for analysis, retreival, and publishing of development data. Some of the tools are listed below.

Data Platform (DP) is a web-based tool for data dissemination and management of time series data. The application is primarily for external entities, such as, regional and international organizations as well as for countries which have a need for managing and disseminating timeseries data. Users of DP can create reports, charts, maps. In addition DP allows users to create their own web pages which can have a mix of text, images and reports/charts/maps. All the outputs in DP are "live", that is, they are connected to the database underlying the DP.

World Integrated Trade Solutions (WITS) is a trade software giving access to bilateral trade between countries based on various product classifications, product details, years, and trade flows.
