Classification of Outlays of Producers by Purpose

Classification of outlays of producers by purpose - COPP

COPP is used to classify certain expenditures by producers - i.e., intermediate consumption, compensation of employees, other taxes less subsidies on production, consumption of fixed capital and gross fixed capital formation.

In principle, COPP applies to all producers, whether market or non-market, although not all the classification of outlays of producers by purpose categories are of equal interest for both kinds of producers. There is currently very little experience with classifications of this kind.
