ICP Bulletin – English

Published quarterly, the ICP Bulletin provides up-to-date information on the status of the ICP. It promotes an active exchange of information on program implementation experiences, methodological developments and case studies, so that the quality of ICP outputs may be improved. It presents summary reports of case studies and abstracts of research papers and their findings.

Published in Arabic, English, French, Russian and Spanish, the ICP Bulletin is widely distributed through email subscription. It is also posted on the ICP website for the wider readership.

Readers are Invited to Contribute

Articles and viewpoints from readers who wish to contribute to the ICP Bulletin are most welcome. Published articles reflect the views and opinions of the authors and do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of the ICP Global Office or the World Bank, where it is housed. Readers are also invited to submit questions regarding technical or operational matters. If the questions are relevant to a wide array of readers, the answers will be included in the Bulletin.

Article Submission Guidelines

The Bulletin accepts articles on topics relevant to the ICP. The Editor reserves the right to edit and publish manuscripts in accordance with the editorial requirements of the Bulletin. Submitted articles may be edited for clarity and space. You are encouraged to submit your article(s) in English, but we also accept articles drafted in Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish.

The suggested length for a typical article is between 900 to 1,000 words. Shorter articles representing an abstract or a summary of a longer article can be 450 to 500 words. In exceptional cases, we accept 1,800 to 2,000 words for methodological and analytical pieces. The aim of the Bulletin is to make relevant methods and analytical findings accessible to the general public and non-technical readers. Therefore, methodological and analytical articles should be presented in simple language, avoiding to the extent possible long equations and notations. Submission should be in Microsoft Word or HTML format.

Send your article for consideration with your email address, phone and fax numbers. If we decide to use your article, we will notify you by email and seek your concurrence if your article is edited substantially.
