The ICP Technical Advisory Group (TAG) provides methodological advice aimed at identifying technical priorities, ensuring technical coherence of the operational and strategic aspects of the program, and addressing emerging issues and gaps relevant to the ICP's implementation. TAG members are instrumental both in providing guidance to boost the technical quality and the methodological underpinnings of the program, and in undertaking some influential studies.
The TAG has nine members who are internationally recognized experts in the program’s key areas of work. Its members represent International Organizations (Eurostat, IMF and OECD), National Statistical Agencies (Australian Bureau of Statistics and Statistics Austria), and academicians from premier learning institutions (Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, University of British Colombia and University of Queensland).
Furthermore, the ICP Global Office partners with organizations that contribute to concerted international efforts on the methodological and technical fronts. Such partners include the Asian Development Bank, the African Development Bank, Eurostat, ILO, IMF, OECD and WHO.
