The World Bank offers technical assistance to member countries in need to create an adequate statistical base for the analysis of economic, financial and social developments necessary to guide policy making. The team mainly focuses on Technical Assistance in institutional capacity building in statistics, but also works on producing new knowledge in statistics or in other words theoretical works and guidelines for applications.
