Over the past two and a half years the GDDS project has conducted three different kinds of workshops: Launch workshop | Topical workshop | Closing workshop At the very beginning of the project, Launch Workshops were held in order to learn the specific priorities of every participating country, and to kick off the project. Later in the project, a few countries opted to have the second round of missions (out of three) replaced by a topical workshop in order to use the opportunity to exchange views and experience with other countries dealing with the specific topics. The Closing workshops took place to wrap up the project in general, to review overall and specific achievements and lessons learnt, and to show ways of further assistance in statistical capacity building.
