The joint Bank-IMF Development Committee meets every fall at the time of the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank and the IMF, and every spring at the Spring Meetings, The Spring Development Committee will take place in Tokyo, Japan in October 13, 2012.

Members and Observers
The Committee has 25 members, usually Ministers of Finance or Development, and who represent the full membership of the Bank and Fund. They are appointed by each of the countries, or groups of countries, represented on the Boards of Executive Directors of the Bank and Fund
